Scott has 30 years of experience in telehealth in the government, academic, and commercial sectors. He has a broad base of telehealth experience, including systems engineering, project management, program management, product management, training, research, evaluation, and leadership.

Immediately prior to joining Poly, Scott was the Chief Telemedicine Architect for Medweb, where he advised the product development team on product and service features and functionality, collaborated with the sales team on strategic sales, provided training and telemedicine business and program development services for new clients, and developed and implemented go-to-market strategies and programs for telemedicine products and services.

Billy Sample has recently accepted a new position with Poly (formerly Plantronics and Polycom) as the Lead Telehealth Advisor, with a focus on Rural Telehealth Expansion. As a subject matter expert, Mr. Sample will be utilizing his practical knowledge gained through experience to assist organizations across the country to build effective and sustainable telehealth programs.

• A Decade worth of practical Rural Telehealth experience. Strong knowledge of the landscape of rural telehealth to include the challenges and successes of making a rural telehealth program work.

• Extensive knowledge in healthcare peripheral integration with telehealth equipment.

• Experience with multiple grant programs for Telehealth funding opportunities.

• Experience with workflow modifications for effective use of telehealth in day-to-day operations.
